The project Practices on the groundaims to achieve through its activity, the following objectives:
- Increasing the degree of information of the young people studying agriculture with regards to the legal frame meant to insure the preservation of soil quality for a responsible and durable agriculture;
- Direct involvement of the young people who study agricultural sciences at a university level in activities of research and information for young pupils studying in high schools with an agriculture profile with regarding the responsible civic attitude towards the environment and the soil;
- Monitoring existent capacities and the measure in which public authorities apply the existing legal framework of preserving soil quality for a responsible and durable agriculture and the practices and the challenges of the farmers in connection to ensuring soil quality through the development of specific monitoring instruments for authorities and farmers and information requests in the basis of Lau no. 544;
- changing farmers mentality and promoting solutions to sustaining the application of legal requirements and spreading throughout the farmers soil friendly practices;
- raising authority awareness through advocacy activities regarding practices and solutions to preserve soil quality for a responsible and durable agriculture developed on the premise of research and monitorization done within the framework of the project, which aim at an upholding of the principles of protecting the environment and sustainable agriculture by farmers and local and national authorities with competencies in the field.
